Get your sport on at Pasterfield Sports Complex in Cameron Park. There’s a variety of courts just below the playground. Most are netball courts but there’s a full-size basketball court as well. Bridges Hill Park
Recently completed in March 2021, Bridges Hill Park playground in Cessnock also has a basketball court. One unique feature about this playground is the half-sized basketball court which includes fencing around the sides that ensures no balls roll away or get lost. Bower Reserve

Fern Bay Reserve
If you want to practice tennis or handball as well as basketball, check out the innovative basketball court at Fern Bay Reserve in Fern Bay located right behind the playground. Norm Chapman Oval, Rutherford
The Norm Chapman Oval located at Rutherford consists of a half court, playground featuring a castle-themed cubby, climbing wall and enclosed slide, picnic tables and fitness equipment. The nearby sporting ovals provide plenty of space to run around.
Corroba Oval, Stockton
Corroba Oval, home of the Stockton Sharks, also has a great basketball court located right next to the car park. There’s also refurbished toilets, including disabled toilets and a kid’s playground with a spider web swing, seesaw, bouncy, toddler slide and climbing/balancing equipment.
Huntlee District Park One
The half basketball court at this park, nestled amongst the trees, is a peaceful spot to practice shooting some hoops. You can even bring your fur baby with you as there’s a fenced, off-leash dog area right next to the basketball court. Wallsend Active Hub
Wallsend Active Hub is now open at Federal Park in Wallsend and it’s worth a visit. Located next to Wallsend Pool, there’s plenty to do at Wallsend Active Hub.
Wallsend Active Hub includes a new playspace featuring equipment for a variety of ages, pump track for bikes, scooters and skateboards and multi-sports courts allowing for basketball and futsal, rebound wall, climbing wall and fitness stations. Find out more about Wallsend Active Hub.
